Our Mission:

Support, Services and Resources for parents who have lost a child. Our Mission is about taking the journey in the grief that consumes you when you have lost the one piece of your very fiber, the most important thing in the world… Your Child. The steps you take to heal and travel through this journey are unique to every parent, and finding the resources can be overwhelming at the very least.

The ability to cover costs associated with cremation/burial services have drastically increased in recent years. The reality is we don't think we will ever need to prepare funeral arrangements for our child, especially when they are young adults, teenagers, adolescents, toddlers or infants. Afterall, the natural order of life suggests the parent will pass long before their child. Unfortunately, this is not always the case, and for too many this can be financially devastating. Couple the shock and trauma of it all with living paycheck to paycheck or having no income, no resources, or support systems - and how do they do it? Where do they turn?

Center for Healing Under Grief - HUG is here to provide these support systems to parents during this difficult time. This assistance may be customized based on the families’ needs. Every parent should be allowed the time and resources to take this journey in their grief.

We are an IRS Exempt 501(c)(3) organization. Our ability to provide supports and services is dependent on donations and funding received.
